Every single person who joins us for our sessions is absolutely vital to our little community. Atletico Warton simply wouldn't be the same without each and every one of you! But we also have a fantastic select group of individuals who help keep everything running like a well oiled machine, ensuring that everything goes smoothly.
Nigel Morris
Director/Founder
Nigel, originally from Preston, relocated to the Fylde area a decade ago. Previously, he held a leadership position within another inclusive football organisation that operated throughout the Fylde region. Alongside co-founder Matt Kirk, Nigel amicably parted ways with that group to establish Atletico Warton, because he wanted a better and more accessibe organisation for the community
Rick Willacy
Director
Rick, originally from Preston, made the transition to Fylde four years ago. Similar to Nigel, he was previously involved with the old inclusive football organisation, albeit solely in a playing capacity. He took over from Matt into a leadership role in September 2024, with a singular objective: to enhance the club and expand its impact on the broader community.

The Committee Members
Matt Kirk
has been a foundational member of the club since its inception. Alongside Nigel, he is a co-founder of Atletico Warton.
Paul Leyland
Paul has been a consistent member since the establishment of the Club. He additionally serves as our principal sponsor for the 11-a-side kits. Demonstrating a profound sense of compassion, he plays a pivotal role in all of our charitable events.
Mike James
Since July 2024, Mike has been an esteemed member of the club, playing a crucial role within the team. His contributions are significant to both the 11-a-side and 5-a-side sessions.
Grant Sawbridge
Grant has been an integral member since the club got founded. His leadership skills and unwavering commitment to our community are the reasons he is the captain of the 11-a-side team.
Ewan Mooney
has distinguished himself as an esteemed member of the club since September 2024. Similar to Mike, he plays a crucial role within the team during all our training sessions.
Richard Downie
Rich is an integral member of our organisation and serves as the founder of our 11-a-side team. He plays a crucial role in the coordination of our sessions and the management of our charity events
Ian "Robbo" Robinson
Robbo has been our most consistent member since mid-2024, rarely missing a five-a-side or eleven-a-side match. he is also our main short sponsor.
Cam Parkin
Cam has been a regular at the club since it was founded in 2023. He plays a massive role in our Monday nights, as the session leader
